FAQ'S
In my line of work I encounter tons of questions regarding possible reactions, aftercare, and general maintenance of my treatments. I’ve done my best to answer them for you, but hit me up if you think I’ve missed something or you have a question I didn’t cover!
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF FILLER AND NEUROTOXIN INJECTIONS?
Neurotoxin injections can reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. These are the wrinkles caused by muscle movements including squinting and frowning. Neurotoxin injections can also help relax certain muscles that are responsible for medical conditions including migraines and TMJ. Dermal fillers can reduce the appearance of static wrinkles–those are the wrinkles that are present even when your face isn’t moving. Static wrinkles can include smile lines and smoker’s lines. Fillers can also restore volume in the face and correct asymmetries in the face and mouth. Both types of injections require no downtime.
HOW LONG WILL MY INJECTIONS TAKE?
Depending on the treatment you’re receiving, injection appointments can be anywhere from 10-60 minutes. Most injections will take 20-30 minutes.
WHAT ARE FILLERS MADE OF AND ARE THEY SAFE?
Most commonly, fillers are made of a stabilized hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in our bodies. When properly injected, fillers are safe and nontoxic.
HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Results of neurotoxin injections are usually visible within the first week, with full results in approximately 10-14 days. Results of dermal fillers are instant, although a small amount of swelling and/or bruising may occur within the first 5-7 days.
HOW LONG DOES DERMAL FILLER LAST?
Depending on the area treated, dermal fillers typically last anywhere from 6-15 months.
HOW LONG DO NEUROTOXIN INJECTIONS LAST?
Neurotoxin injections usually last 3-4 months.
WHEN SHOULD I START GETTING NEUROTOXIN INJECTIONS?
Neurotoxin injections can be preventative, and you can start as early as your mid-20’s. And don’t worry–if the wrinkles have already started forming, it’s never too late to start!
HOW DO I KNOW IF AESTHETIC INJECTIONS ARE RIGHT FOR ME?

WHAT AREAS OF THE FACE CAN BE TREATED WITH NEUROTOXINS?
You can inject neurotoxins nearly anywhere in the face, for any number of reasons. You can inject your forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet (corners of your eyes), marionette lines, smoker’s lines, platysmal bands in your neck, and specific spots to help alleviate TMJ and migraines.
IS IT PAINFUL?
Generally speaking, most injections involve a very minimal amount of pain and/or discomfort. A topical anesthetic is usually applied, although for some more invasive procedures, I can offer a small amount of injectable lidocaine.
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS AFTER RECEIVING INJECTIONS?
I’ll always provide you with aftercare instructions specific to your treatment. I typically recommend avoiding alcohol, makeup, NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen), and exercise for the first 48 hours. It is also recommended that you sit or stand in an upright position for approximately 4 hours after injections to avoid unintentional migration. After neurotoxin injections, I encourage my clients to try to exercise the treated area for 1-2 hours after treatment (raising eyebrows, frowning, squinting). This helps actually work it into the muscles.
ARE INJECTIONS SAFE WHILE PREGNANT AND/OR BREASTFEEDING?
Neurotoxin and dermal filler injections are not recommended while pregnant and/or breastfeeding. While it’s not proven whether or not neurotoxins can be transmitted to a baby during pregnancy or through breastfeeding, most doctors recommend avoiding treatments throughout pregnancy and the duration of breastfeeding and/or pumping.
DO YOU HAVE ANY BOOKING/CANCELLATION POLICIES?
All patients will receive an appointment confirmation notification. It is required that all patients reply to this confirmation at least 48 hours prior to their scheduled appointment. If the appointment is not confirmed, it will be considered a cancellation. This will result in a $100 cancellation fee. This practice has been put into place to protect the ability for all patients to be able to schedule accordingly, as well as the time it takes for each appointment.
Appointments must be canceled no later than 48 hours prior or the $100 cancellation fee will apply, and deposit will be required for all future appointments.
HOW CAN I PAY?
Cash is strongly preferred. All credit/debit transactions will incur an additional service/processing fee. I do not currently accept Zelle or Venmo.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?
I get it. Sometimes you need your bestie's opinion; especially when it comes to botox + filler. Due to space + safety, only one guest will be allowed in the suite during your appointment. Anyone else will be asked to wait outside.
WHAT IS YOUR LATE POLICY?
In order for me to remain on schedule, please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you will be charged an automatic $100 late fee, and your appointment will be rescheduled. Plan accordingly and leave time for traffic!
CAN I BRING MY CHILD?
Anyone under the age of 18 will not be permitted inside the suite under any circumstances. As this is a medical procedure, safety is my #1 concern for all guests. Please plan accordingly for childcare during your appointment.
WHAT IS YOUR NO-SHOW POLICY?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform me in advance. No-shows will be charged an automatic $150 fee, and will be banned from booking further appointments. There are no exceptions.
